Digitalisering inom hälso- och sjukvården har stadigt utvecklas på förhållandevis kort tid och för många inneburit ett nytt synsätt på vårdandet. Det har visat sig både kunna underlätta för individer på samhällsnivå och leda till organisatoriska förändringar för hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal. Det finns förhållandevis lite forskning om hur digitaliseringen påverkar kvinnor och barnmorskors upplevelse av vården. Syftet med studien var därför att belysa kvinnors och barnmorskors upplevelser av digital vård inom området sexuell- och reproduktiv hälsa. Den valda metoden systematisk litteraturstudie med innehållsanalys användes för att analysera vetenskapliga artiklar mellan 2014–2025. Resultatet visade att kvinnor och barnmorskor generellt anser att digitala tjänster är ett bra komplement till hälso- och sjukvården och att de underlättar i vardagen. Tillgänglighet och flexibilitet angavs som fördelar. Till nackdelar hörde digital säkerhet, tekniska svårigheter och barriärer relaterade till kliniska bedömningar. Digitaliseringen ansågs av både kvinnor och barnmorskor vara ett nytt och generellt positivt sätt att både få och ge vård. Upplevelsen av digital vård är beroende av hur väl den kan ges och tas emot och flera faktorer såsom teknik och tillgänglighet är avgörande för hur den digitala vården upplevs fungera. 

Digitalization in healthcare has continuously developed at a steady rate and has for many in a relatively short time meant a new approach to healthcare. It has shown to be both easier for individuals in society and has led to organizational changes for healthcare professionals. There is relatively little research on how digitalization affects women's and midwives' experiences of care. The purpose of the study was therefore to shed light on women's and midwives' experiences of digital care in the area of sexual and reproductive health. The chosen method, systematic literature review with content analysis, was used to analyse scientific articles between 2014–2025. The results showed that women and midwives generally believe that digital services are a good complement to traditional healthcare that makes everyday life easier. Accessibility and flexibility were cited as advantages. Disadvantages included digital security, technical difficulties and barriers related to clinical assessments. Digitalization was considered by both women and midwives to be a new and generally positive way to both receive and provide care. The experience of digital care depends on how well it can be given and received, and several factors such as technology and accessibility are crucial to how digital care is perceived to work.
