Implementering av AI-teknologier i primärvården: vårdpersonalens upplevelse
2025 (Swedish)Independent thesis Basic level (degree of Bachelor), 10 credits / 15 HE creditsStudent thesisAlternative title
Implementation of AI-technologies in Primary Care : Healthcare Professionals’ Experiences (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

The implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in primary healthcare presents both opportunities and challenges within the clinical environment. The purpose of this study is to explore healthcare professionals' experiences of the AI implementation and to examine how this technology influences their workflows, professional roles and decision-making processes within both public and private primary care. This study is written in Swedish and employs a qualitative methodology and was conducted as a small-N study within the primary healthcare setting. The results show that healthcare personnel have a generally positive attitude towards AI, particularly regarding its potential to reduce administrative burdens and support clinical decision making. At the same time concerns were raised about system transparency, the risk of skill degradation, and the need for targeted education. The study highlights that successful AI implementation requires not only technical readiness but also organization support, user involvement and training aligned with clinical realities and professional values.
