Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This study aims to contribute in-depth knowledge about factors affecting well-being in today’s Swedish labor market. More specifically, it examines the relationships between job demands, control, social support, and perceived well-being among full-time employees, as well as how remote work influences these factors. The study is based on the demand-control-social support model and the PERMA model. Data was collected through a survey of 151 full-time employees and analyzed statistically. The results show that control and social support have a clear positive relationship with well-being, while job demands showed a weaker association. Remote work also appears to strengthen perceptions of both control and support, which in turn can promote well-being. Thus, the study supports that the interplay between job demands, control, and social support, together with remote work, constitutes important conditions for employee well-being.
