Denna studie handlar om arbetsberedningar, vilket innebär planering av arbetsmoment. Dagensutmaning med arbetsberedningar är att de generellt inte genomförs i tid och inte håller tillräckligt god kvalitet. Målet med studien är att hitta förbättringar i arbetssättet utifrån aspekterna tid och kvalitet. Arbetet undersöker därför vad god kvalitet innebär, hur det ska uppnås i praktiken samt hur fler arbetsberedningar ska utföras i tid. 

Metoden som användes för att genomföra arbetet bestod av en kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie och en kvalitativ fallstudie med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Totalt genomfördes fem intervjuer och en enkätundersökning med arbetsledare och yrkesarbetare inom byggproduktion på Peab i Borås. 

Resultatet som framkom i studien indikerar att det råder delade åsikter hos deltagarna om hur väl arbetet med arbetsberedningar fungerar idag. Den planerade uppföljningen som ska genomföras efter avslutat moment, som är en del av arbetsberedningen, genomförs generellt inte. Dessutom menade flera arbetsledare att de inte har rätt förutsättningar för att kunna genomföra arbetsberedningarna. Majoriteten av deltagarna i studien tyckte däremot att arbetsberedningar är ett bra och viktigt verktyg för ett lyckat projekt. 

Analysen av resultatet visar att det finns behov av ett mer likvärdigt arbetssätt uppbyggt av en standardiserad mall med möjlighet att dela erfarenhet mellan projekten. Det är även viktigt att skapa en rutin med tydlig kommunikation och gemensamma förväntningar. Arbetsberedningar bör även förmedlas i projektets tidplan för att säkerställa att de utförs i tid. 

Studien kan bidra till ett strukturerat och planerat arbete kring arbetsberedningar, vilket börbidra till en ökad trivsel och minskad stress. Genom effektiv planering kan även materialåtgång, omarbetning och transporter minskas vilket är positivt ur ett hållbart perspektiv.

This study focuses on work preparations, which entails planning work tasks. The current challenge with work preparations is that they are generally not conducted in a timely manner and do not maintain adequate quality. The aim of the study is to find improvements in the working method based on the aspects of time and quality. Therefore, the work investigates what good quality entails, how it can be achieved in practice, and how more work preparations can be conducted on time.

The method used to conduct the work consisted of a quantitative cross-sectional study and a qualitative case study with semi-structured interviews. In total, five interviews and a survey were conducted with supervisors and skilled workers at Peab in Borås.

The results of the study indicate that there are mixed opinions among the participants about how well the work with work preparations is functioning today. The planned follow-up, which is to be conducted after the completion of the task and is part of the work preparation, is generally not carried out. Additionally, several supervisors stated that they do not have the right conditions to be able to conduct work preparations. However, the majority of the participants in the study believed that work preparations are a good and important tool for a successful project.

The analysis of the results shows that there is a need for a more consistent working method built on a standardized template with the possibility of sharing experiences between projects. It is also important to establish a routine with clear communication and expectations. Work preparations should also be included in the project schedule to ensure they are completed on time.

The study can contribute to a structured and planned approach to work preparations, which should lead to increased satisfaction and reduced stress. Through effective planning, material usage, rework, and transportation can also be reduced, which is positive from a sustainable perspective.
