Hållbarhetsverktyg är idag ett allt vanligare instrument för företag inom bygg och projektering. Denna rapport undersöker hur ett hållbarhetsverktyg skapar mervärde för företag, vilka utvecklingsmöjligheter som finns, samt hur hållbarhetsarbetet underlättas med hjälp av hållbarhetsverktyg. Rapporten fokuserarpå TyrImpact, Tyréns egna hållbarhetsverktyg.

Undersökningen bestod av en litteraturstudie samt intervjuer med hållbarhetskonsult, hållbarhetschef och projektledningschef från Tyréns och projektledare från Lerums Kommun.

Litteraturstudien genomfördes för att skapa en förståelse för hållbarhetens olika delar och vikten av ett hållbarhetsverktyg som kan binda samman de olika dimensionerna samtidigt som det är användarvänligt och affärsdrivande.

Därefter genomfördes intervjuer med drivande personer inom TyrImpact samt en användare av verktyget för att se om tanken om hur det ska arbetas i verktyget går hand i hand med verkligheten om hur det faktiskt är att arbeta i. Idag är verktyget fokuserat på risker och möjligheter inom projekt, och ger en klar bild av hur dessa kan hanteras eller elimineras innan de händer, alternativt minska konsekvensen om det är en risk som ej kan undvikas.

Resultatet av intervjuerna visar att det idag finns glapp i kommunikationen mellan projektörer och beställare samt svårigheter med att arbeta i systemet som på sikt kommer behöva lösas för att enklare kunna sälja in TyrImpact som ett komplett hållbarhetsverktyg.

Verktyget har en stabil grund att utgå ifrån, och drivs idén vidare kommer TyrImpact bli en förenklande plattform som bidrar till ett smidigare arbetssätt gällande hållbarhet- och riskhantering vid projekthantering.

Sustainability tools are today an increasingly common instrument for companies in construction and design. This report examines how a sustainability tool creates added value for companies, shows the development opportunities that exist and how sustainability work is facilitated with the help of sustainability tools. The report focuses on TyrImpact, Tyréns's own sustainability tool.

The survey consisted of a literature study and interviews with a Sustainability Consultant, Sustainability Manager and Project Management Manager from Tyréns as well as a Project Manager from Lerum Municipality.

The literature study was conducted to create an understanding of the different elements of sustainability and the importance of a sustainability tool that can connect the various dimensions while still being userfriendly and business-driven.

Subsequently interviews were conducted with key people running TyrImpact and an actual user of the tool to check if the idea of how to work with the tool goes hand in hand with the reality of actually working with it. Today, the tool is focused on risks and opportunities within projects and provides a clear picture of how these can be managed or eliminated before they happen, or how to reduce the consequences in the event of an unavoidable risk.

The results of the interviews show that today there is a gap in communication between designers and clients as well as difficulties in working with the system. In the long run these will need to be solved in order to sell TyrImpact more easily as a complete sustainability tool.

A good starting point is that the tool has a stable foundation and if the idea is developed further, TyrImpact will be a simplifying platform contributing to a smoother work process for sustainability and risk handling in project management.
