Rapporten innehåller en produktutvecklingsprocess av en justerbar friskluftskrok. En friskluftskrok har i uppgift att fästas i bagageluckans låsanordning på en personbil för att möjliggöra för vädring, då kroken håller luckan på glänt.

Syfte med arbetet är att med hjälp utav det uppsamlade kunskaper från tidigare studier utveckla och designa en användbar produkt. Därmed utöka gruppens kunskap och erfarenhet av arbete inom produktutveckling.

Detta åstadkoms genom framtagning av lösningar som tillfredsställer målgruppens behov och önskemål. Dessa konkretiseras med hjälp av en marknadsundersökning. För att åstadkomma önskat resultat kommer välkända produktutvecklingsmetoder att användas för att effektivt utveckla produkten.

Olika koncept för det olika delar av friskluftskroken jämförs med varandra, sedan väljs ett fåtal koncept för vidare prototyputveckling. Dessa prototyper tillverkas med en 3D-skrivare och testas på olika bilar. Resultaten från dessa tester används sedan för vidare utveckling av prototyperna.

I resultatet redovisas den färdigställda produkten genom att beskriva dess utseende, hur den skall tillverkas och dess egenskaper.

This report describes the product development process of an adjustable fresh air hook. The purpose of a fresh air hook is to be attached to the car’s trunk lid and its locking device to allow for air circulation inside the baggage compartment thus decreasing the temperature, as the hook keeps the door open.

The purpose of the work is to develop and design a usable product with the help of the knowledge gathered from our studies. This will increase the group's knowledge and experience of work in product development.

This is achieved through the development of solutions that satisfy the needs and wishes of the target group. These are concretized by means of a market survey. To achieve the desired result, well-known product development methods will be used to effectively develop the product.

Different concepts for the different parts of the fresh air hook are compared with each other, then a few concepts are chosen for further prototype development. These prototypes are made with a 3D-printer and tested on different cars. The results of these tests are then used for further development of the prototypes.

In the result, a report of the finished product is presented by describing its appearance, how it is manufactured and its properties.
