Artificial Intelligence : What Does the Future Hold for Chatbots? A Study of Chatbots in Corporate Customer Service (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI) is used in customer service across different types of companies, with a focus on chatbots. As digitalization accelerates, AI has become a common tool in how organizations handle customer interactions. The study is based on a qualitative case study, with interviews conducted with customer service staff from four companies in sectors such as banking, energy, public transport, and retail. The results show that chatbots are often seen as useful for handling simple tasks and saving time, but that there are also concerns about issues like lack of human contact, technical problems, and data privacy. The conclusion is that AI can improve customer service, but that human interaction still plays an important role in certain situations.
