Immobilization of Carbonic Anhydrase Enzyme on Textiles: Towards Biocatalytic Textile-Based Packing Material for CO2 Capture Application
University of Borås, Faculty of Textiles, Engineering and Business.
2026 (English)Independent thesis Advanced level (degree of Master (Two Years)), 20 credits / 30 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

This work first focused on the immobilization process. The textile coating was prepared through the selected coating approaches and then evaluated for stability after treatment and washing. Crosslinking enabled attachment, while hydraulic spray provided an innovative route for enzyme immobilization. Together, these steps provide a foundation for future textile-based CO2 capture studies.
