Why People Still opt for Offline Shopping Despite the Advancement in Online Shopping (English)
Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

This study investigates why consumers continue to prefer offline-shopping despite the growing popularity of e-commerce platforms. Using a quantitative research approach, data was collected from consumers. The findings indicate that while online shopping is gaining traction, brick-and-mortar stores remain appealing due to factors such as the ability to physically inspect products, immediate gratification, and the social aspects of the shopping experience. This research highlights the complexity of consumer behavior in the retail sector during the digital age and contributes to a deeper understanding of consumer attitudes and behaviors. These insights can assist retailers in making more informed decisions to better adapt to the evolving needs and preferences of consumers.
