Abstract [sv]

Bakgrund och problemformulering: Akutmottagningar är kända för att ha en stor arbetsbelastning, och miljön kan vara hektisk och stressfull. Patienter som söker sig till akutmottagningen har ofta ett omvårdnadsbehov som behöver tillgodoses. Dessa beskrivningar av verkligheten på akutmottagningen går inte hand i hand. Risker som ett ökat vårdlidande till följd av otillräcklig omvårdnad kan identifieras. Syfte: Att belysa de faktorer som patienter upplever påverka omvårdnaden på akutmottagningen. Metod: I denna litteraturöversikt analyserades 11 kvalitativa studier, som ledde fram till ett resultat. Resultat: De faktorer som framgår påverka upplevelsen av omvårdnad är vårdande relationer, kommunikation och information, samt den vårdande miljön. Diskussion: I diskussionen framgår det att bristande resurser, som personalbrist, vidare tidsbrist och stressande arbetsmiljö, kan vara faktorer som bidrar till att patienter inte upplever sitt omvårdnadsbehov tillgodosett.

Abstract [en]

Background and problem formulation: Emergency departments are known to have a large workload, and the environment can be busy and stressful. Patients visiting the emergency department often has a caring need that needs to be met. These descriptions of reality in the emergency department do not go hand in hand. Risks as increased care suffering as a result of inadequate care can be identified. Purpose: To highlight the factors that patients feel affect nursing care in the emergency department. Method: This literature review analyzed 11 qualitative studies, which led to results. Results: The factors that appear to influence the experience of nursing are nurturing relationships, communication and information, as well as the nurturing environment. Discussion: In the discussion, it appears that lack of resources, such as staff shortages, further lack of time and stressful work environment, may be factors that contribute to patients not feels their nursing needs are met.
