This thesis describes the integration of textiles in an outdoor architectural context and emphasizes the importance of contextualizing in textile design. Using different weaving techniques, the creation of textiles designed for outdoor architectural environments is explored. The study contributes to the field of textiles by showing how textiles can be in outdoor spaces beyond mere aesthetic decoration. The focus is on developing transparent, lightweight textiles that gently engage outdoor environments, striking a balance between subtlety and elegance while making a significant impact. Through this project, the potential for textiles to dynamically interact with outdoor architecture is demonstrated, enriching both the functional and aesthetic aspects of outdoor spaces.
