The Swedish institute for children's literature : a special library with a flagship of its own (English)
Abstract [en]

The aim of this bachelor thesis is partly to fill a bit of the lacuna that signifies the research on The Swedish institute for children`s literature, Sbi. There has been little research performed on the institute as well as its library. Joachim Hansson’s theoretical framework based on Ferraris theory of documentality is being used as an analyzing model on a survey questionnaire responded by 21 researchers on children’s literature and 197 children´s librarians. The result signifies that the institute possesses a high degree of internal as well as external legitimacy through a high degree of both constitutive and performative documentality.
