Byggprojekt är unika och komplexa och dess livslängd från idéskedet till förvaltning går under namnet byggprocessen. Byggprocessen innehåller många olika moment och kräver kompetent ledning för att nå beställarens mål och för att nå denna kompetens använder sig beställaren ofta sig utav en projektledare. Projektledaren ska leda projektet genom att styra mot de angivna målen samt samordna och delegera de olika aktörerna i byggprojektet. Det är mycket ansvar och åtagande från projektledaren och till sin hjälp kan en projektledare använda sig av checklistor.

Examensarbetets syfte är att tydliggöra hur projektledare kan få bättre struktur och styrning med hjälp av checklistor i byggprocessens initiala skede. Frågeställningar som besvaras i studien är:

• Hur kan checklistor förbättra styrning och struktur för projektledare, i byggprocessens initiala skede?

• Vad ska en checklista innehålla för att ge projektledaren bättre styrning och struktur över projektet, i byggprocessen initiala skede?

För att besvara dessa frågeställningar användes en litteraturstudie och en idéväxling med företaget NOCA Teknik AB. Det beskrivs även hur yttre omständigheter påverkat val av metod och vilka ändringar som skett under arbetets gång.

Via litteraturstudie har författarna utformat 10 st. olika checklistor uppdelat i två skeden, 5 st. i behovsutredning och 5st. i programarbetet. Med hjälp av idéväxling med NOCA Teknik AB har sedan checklistorna utvecklats och studerats i vilka sammanhang de kan vara till nytta.

Studien visar att checklistorna kan användas till styrning och struktur i sammanhang som avstämning i ett tidigt stadie, möten och uppföljning på att färdigt projekt och kan innehålla fem olika parametrar:

• Ekonomi

• Tid

• Omfattning/kvalité

• Kundrelation

• Intressenter

Construction projects are unique and complex and their lifespan from the initial stage to conduct goes by the name of the construction process. The construction process contains many different parts and requires competent management to reach the client's goals and to gain this competency the client often uses a project manager. The project manager shall lead the project by steering towards the stated goals and coordinating and delegating the various participants in the construction project. The project manager has a lot of responsibility and commitment and to do this the project manager can use checklists.

The purpose of the bachelor thesis is to clarify how project managers can get better structure and control using checklists at the initial stage of the construction process. Questions which is answered in the study are:

• How can checklists improve the control and structure of project managers, at the initial stage of the construction process?

• What should a checklist contain to give the project manager better control and structure of the project, at the initial stage of the construction process?

To answer these questions the authors have worked with a literature study and exchange of ideas with the company NOCA Teknik AB. It is also described how external circumstances affected the choice of method and what changes occurred during the course of the work.

Through literature study, the authors have produced 10 pcs. of different checklists divided into two stages, 5 pcs. in need assessment and 5 pcs in the programwork. With the help of exchange of ideas with NOCA Teknik AB, the checklists have since been optimized and studied in which contexts they can be useful.

The study shows that the checklists can be used for control and structure in context such as reconciliation in an early stage, meetings and follow-up on a completed project and can contain five different parameters:

• Economy

• Time

• Scope/quality

• Client relationship

• Stakeholders
