Abstract [en]

Corporate social responsibility is a concept that grows stronger in our society day by day. At the same time CSR has become a central part non-profit organizations. Svenska fotbollsförbundet wants to strengthen the picture of the association's social commitment by lifting their sustainability work. Based on a quantitative approach, this study aims to illustrate how non-profit soccer associations in Skåne works with corporate social responsibility and how they work from an economic, social and environmental sustainability perspective. Furthermore, the paper aims to create an understanding for the non-profit soccer associations view on sharing knowledge. The study is based on a web based questionnaires sent out to randomly selected soccer associations in Skåne to create an understanding of what the paper aims to illustrate. The result shows that soccer associations work with CSR and from an economic, social and environmental sustainability perspective without really knowing about it and that there is a lack of communication and knowledge sharing between the non-profit soccer associations and Riksidrottsförbundet and Svenska Fotbollsförbundet. Furthermore, the study shows that there is a desire to work more with issues from a sustainability perspective, but the soccer associations wants material and help to be able to distribute their time to maximise their work.
