Abstract [en]

Today we are surrounded by social medial channels that constantly influence us. The people that influence us the most is called influencers. These influencers increase our needs of consumption since they sell us a desire of having it all.

This work aims to highlight the problematic around influencers and their impact on our consumer habits. It has been explored thought an investigation of fashion hauls on YouTube and how they affect our need of consumption. To gain knowledge and understanding of the subject there has been studies of hauls but also investigations that include performing a haul yourself. The problematic around fashion hauls has been interpret into garments to increase the understanding of this issue but also to make a statement with wearable form. We do not need social media influencers who tell us about their latest purchases and what new clothes we must have in our wardrobe. The last thing we need is people who try to make consumption trendy. This results in a collection of seven outfits, where every outfit is based on one consumption problem found in a haul with the intention to highlight and enlighten this problems.
